Our first task as an Independent Financial Adviser is to review your current position, to reassure you that the products you may already have (i.e. personal insurances, savings accounts, pensions etc.) are still relevant and suitable to meet your current and future needs and circumstances, or, conversely, offer suggestions if those products are no longer suitable.

In order to give our clients the best possible advice, we complete a comprehensive attitude to investment risk questionnaire with every client, which is then input into an approved risk profiling tool. The overall risk profile gives a risk rating of either risk averse, defensive risk, cautious risk, balanced risk, moderately aggressive risk, or aggressive risk. We will then discuss this with our client and set up an appropriate plan depending on their attitude to investment risk, goals, needs and priorities going forward.
The first meeting is always free and without obligation and cost and you will be told of any cost after our first meeting. You are under no obligation to proceed with any future meetings if this is not to your satisfaction.
Below is an indication of our fees, but we would like to make it clear that these fees are not minimum and maximum amounts and are always negotiable.
Our client agreement document, which documents our products, services, and charges can be sent to you on request.
For a £25,000 investment, we would normally charge 2% initial charge, which amounts to £500. For an ongoing review, we would normally charge 0.5% p.a., which amounts to £125 p.a. and this is normally deducted from your investment directly. For smaller investments we may increase our charges and for larger investments we may reduce charges.

No fees are charged, we will get paid a commission from the product provider.
We get paid a procuration fee from the mortgage provider, usually 0.35% of the loan amount, which on a £100,000 mortgage would amount to £350. On occasion we may also have to charge an adviser fee up to a maximum of £200 but this is waived if the client completes their own mortgage questionnaire.
